THE combination of vikram,producer thaanu and director susi ganesan to team up continue even after the film kanthaswami for a indo-mexican film.INITIALLY,the director wants to shoot kanthaswami in kenya,It was dropped becauase of some ethnic strife.Mexico was choosen to be the next location for film shooting,which the indian industry has never ever dreamt of shooting a film there till now.the mexican government officials, who are impressed by kathaswamy's trailer chose to cast vikram in a movie which is to be co-produced by them.It is said that a popular mexican actress is the heroine of the new film in which vikram is the protagonist.The film comprises of both indian and mexican artists.
Actor vikram learnt spanish from various books and,he also impressed the mexicans by spanish pronunciation at good timing.
It is said that vikram was also trained as a salsa dancer which is a traditional dance in mexico.
