A SOLUTION FOUND FOR SPINAL CORD INJURIES

A GREAT break through in medical science is that, researches have developed a good solution for spinal cord injuries i.e., to use the body's own nerves to bridge the gap in the spinal cord left by paralysing injuries.IT IS VERY ANALOGOUS TO A bypass surgery in the heart where veins are taken from patients leg are used to circumvent artery blockages.

Many researches have shown that nerves can be used to circumvent spinal damage and reconnect the brain to the body.the procedure worked well with rats, scientists now hope to use an injured person's own nerves to bridge the gap in the spinal cord left by paralysing injuries.however the scientists are coming up with many other methodologies, with is to be tests in various aspects and to be made better surrogate to spinal cord injuries.
